Zinedine Zidane allegedly wants to replace Jose Mourinho as Manchester United manager in 2019.

According to L’Equipe, Zinedine Zidane is interested in a move to England – and wants to become the next Manchester United manager for the start of the 2019-20 season.
Zidane, 46, turned his hand to coaching in 2014 with Real Madrid’s Castilla side, and was promoted in January 2016 following Rafael Benitez’s exit.
The Frenchman has now won the last three Champions League titles in a remarkable run, whilst he has also won one La Liga title, but he decided to move on this past summer.
Now unemployed, Zidane appears to be taking out of the game before lining up a return in 2019, and L’Equipe now report that he is particularly looking to become the next Manchester United manager next summer.
Many United fans are unhappy with Jose Mourinho’s demeanour and style of play, with some looking for him to be replaced in what is – historically – a crucial third season for Mourinho’s reign.
Intriguingly, Zidane now allegedly wants to replace Mourinho at Old Trafford, which is fascinating because it was Mourinho who first brought Zidane into the Real Madrid backroom setup back in 2010, and somewhat emulates how Mourinho replaced his former mentor in Louis van Gaal.

The news may please United fans, and would surely leave Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial feeling optimistic – and not just because of their seemingly frayed relationships with Mourinho.
Not only did Zidane hail Pogba in 2016 (The Guardian), but The Mirror also reported in November that Zidane wanted to rescue Martial from his United struggles and take him to Real Madrid.
That suggests that the pair would figure prominently under Zidane, and playing under one of France’s all-time greats would surely be hugely appealing to the two French talents.
