According to The Sun, Everton defender Yerry Mina fancies leaving the club for a move to Italy, with two clubs keen.

It’s stated that Carlo Ancelotti has already lined up a replacement for Mina in Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, having worked together in Italy.

Mina, 26, wants to head off to Serie A, and both Inter Milan and Fiorentina are thought to be interested in the Colombian.

Milan Skriniar has been heavily linked away from Inter in recent times, whilst Fiorentina face a fight to keep hold of Nikola Milenkovic.

Mina could be a target if either player go, and Everton may be tempted to cash in and attempt to claw back most of the £28.5million they paid to sign Mina from Barcelona in 2018.

The giant centre back has impressed at times, but niggling injuries have been very frustrating, with Ancelotti possibly ready to move him on.

Spotrac claim that Mina earns a hefty £120,000-a-week at Everton, so there may be a real temptation to get his wages off the books and throw money at Koulibaly.

Mina has ability, but Koulibaly would be a big upgrade – and the appeal of reuniting with Ancelotti may be big, just like it was for Allan and James Rodriguez.
