There is still no return date set for Tottenham and England midfielder Harry Winks.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Harry Winks’ return from injury continues to look complicated.

The Evening Standard report Winks is still feeling discomfort in his ankle despite his operation in July.

Winks missed Tottenham’s pre-season tour of America and is continuing his rehab.

The report claims there is still no return date set on Winks returning to full training.

Winks cannot even begin to be considered for game time until he proves himself in training, and Tottenham may be looking at another month before he makes his return.

The young midfielder has struggled with an ankle injury since December, and the problem originated back to April 2017.

Winks missed the World Cup after forcing his way into the England team last Autumn.

He faces an uphill task to win his place back in the Three Lions squad and must prove himself all over again for Tottenham first.
