Sergio Aguero could yet move to Tottenham Hotspur this summer if the chance arrives, the Telegraph report.

Aguero is set to leave Manchester City but wants to remain in the Premier League, and would be open to joining Tottenham.

That news comes just days after Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta ruled out his side making a move for the Argentine (Sky), who was described as ‘world-class’ by Thierry Henry (Goal).

Arsenal may be looking for a striker, but it seems that Aguero won’t be their new number nine.

Chelsea are the most likely candidates to sign him from England, but Spurs are now tipped as a potential option.

If Aguero was to arrive at Tottenham it would be a major shock, and Spurs would surely struggle to afford his wage demands.

But a potential partnership of Harry Kane and Aguero looks tantalising on paper.

And the latest reports certainly add some intrigue to where Aguero could end up this summer for supporters of Jose Mourinho’s side.
