Benicio Boaitey is yet to even make his debut for West Ham but a winger who has been compared to Douglas Costa is already a target for Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Liverpool, according to German publication Sport1.

Perhaps inspired by the roaring success of a certain fresh-faced Englishman at Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund, FC Hollywood are batting their eyelashes in the direction of one of the most talented young prospects on British shores.

Teenager Boaitey has been turning heads behind the scenes at West Ham with those in the know believing that the club who gave us Joe Cole, Jermain Defoe, Declan Rice, Michael Carrick and more have another star on their hands.

As it stands, however, it looks for all the world that West Ham fans will never have the pleasure of watching Boaitey strut his stuff in claret and blue.

Sport1 claims that West Ham were desperate to keep hold of the England youth star and offered him professional terms at the London Stadium.

But, in what will be viewed as a massive blow to the London-based outfit, Boaitey has apparently informed the club that he will not be staying beyond this summer with a new club in his sights.

He is certainly not short of offers. Premier League rivals Liverpool and Manchester United are circling while Bayern are also keen on a twinkle-toed forward who is drawing comparisons with former Allianz Arena favourite and Brazil international Douglas Costa.
