According to The Daily Star (20/06, p43), Wolverhampton Wanderers are preparing a £35million move for Sevilla striker and West Ham United target Youssef En-Nesyri.
Wolves will hope to have Raul Jimenez back fit and firing next season, but with Willian Jose’s loan spell over, a new striker is needed.
The Molineux club may need to sell before they can buy, but En-Nesyri is thought to be a prime target to bolster the Wolves attack.
How did En-Nesyri fare last season?
En-Nesyri joined Sevilla from Leganes back in January 2020, and after just six goals in 26 games in his first half-season with the club, he has really exploded now.
The Moroccan striker smashed 24 goals in 52 games across all competitions last season, though didn’t register a single assist.
At 24, En-Nesyri should still have his best days ahead of him, and Sevilla are under no great pressure to sell as things stand.

West Ham still want En-Nesyri too
The Premier League team most strongly linked with En-Nesyri in 2021 has been West Ham United, having made a January move for him.
This new report claims West Ham are still keen, and could rival Wolves for his signature if there is any indication that Sevilla will sell.
West Ham have Europa League football which could give them the advantage, but Wolves seem keen to give Bruno Lage a big signing in En-Nesyri.
