Huddersfield paid £5.7m to sign Sobhi last summer but the Egyptian international could be on his way to Premier League rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing Huddersfield Town’s forgotten man Ramadan Sobhi in the summer transfer window, according to The Daily Mail.
The Egyptian attacker is one of the most highly-rated young talents in African football but he has struggled to make an impression in English football since arriving at Stoke City in the summer of 2016.
Sobhi scored just twice in 20 starts for Stoke before sealing a £5.7 million move to Huddersfield last summer, as reported by the BBC.
But, after just 76 minutes of Premier League football under David Wagner, the 22-year-old returned to Egypt, joining El Ahly on loan.

Nonetheless, his struggles at the John Smith’s Stadium do not appear to have put off Wolves, who are confident that they can help Sobhi realise his undoubted potential. The skilful winger has been linked to Lionel Messi in his homeland, as well as Egyptian international team-mate Mo Salah.
The Mail adds that Wolves are keen to sign Sobhi as early as possible as they are concerned that his value could sky rocket if he impresses with Egypt in this summer’s African Cup of Nations.
