Wolverhampton Wanderers reportedly want to sign Ruben Vinagre from AS Monaco in the summer transfer window.

Vinagre, who can operate as a left-back or as a wing-back, spent the 2017-18 season on loan at Wolves from Monaco.

The Wanderers reportedly want the youngster back at the Molineux Stadium on loan for the 2018-19 campaign and are not keen on a permanent deal yet.

Good move?
Vinagre is only 19 years of age and is still developing, and one can understand why Wolves do not (reportedly) want to sign the teenager on a permanent contract.
The Portugal Under-19 international made eight starts and one substitute appearances for Wolves in the Championship last season, scoring one goal and providing one assist.

While it is hard to see Vinagre establish himself in Nuno’s starting lineup next season, he does have quality and a lot of potential, and it would make sense for Wolves to see how he does in the Premier League next season.
