Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly keen on Barcelona defender Yerry Mina.

According to The Sun, Wolverhampton Wanderers are keen to sign Barcelona defender Yerry Mina – and want Jorge Mendes to help them land him.
Mina, 23, joined Barca from Palmeiras in January having impressed in Brazil, but he struggled to make an impact at the Camp Nou, receiving criticism for his displays.
The Colombian international did impress at this summer’s World Cup though, scoring three goals in three games as he proved his dominant aerial ability from set pieces.
That has created real interest in his signature, and whilst The Sun claim that Tottenham Hotspur and Everton are both keen, newly-promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly joining the race.
Wolves allegedly want Mina on a season-long loan deal, and whilst Mina wants a ‘bigger’ club, Wolves are prepared to offer first-team football, and want super-agent Jorge Mendes to help with their move.
Mendes has already assisted Wolves in a host of deals over the last two years, and is believed to be attempting to facilitate a deal to lure the 6ft 5in centre back to Molineux.

With Clement Lenglet snapped up from Sevilla to offer competition for Gerard Pique and Samuel Umtiti, Mina is slipping down the Barca pecking order, and looks to be available on loan this summer.
Mina could join Willy Boly and Conor Coady in the Wolves back line, but there is plenty of work to do on a deal yet – and Wolves will be hoping that the influence of Mendes can help them beat Everton and Spurs to his signature.
