It has been reported that Wolves will look for north of £12 million for the 25-year-old winger.
The report has also claimed that Newcastle United and Fulham wanted to sign the Portugal international in the summer of 2018.
No big loss for Wolverhampton Wanderers
Cavaleiro joined Wolves from AS Monaco in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by The Express & Star to be worth £7 million, and it seems that the Wanderers are planning to make a profit of £5m.
The 25-year-old, who can also operate as a forward, did well for Wolves initially, but the Portuguese has lost his place in the starting lineup, and his exit will not be a big loss for the Wanderers.
According to WhoScored, Cavaleiro made six starts and 17 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Wolves this season, scoring three goals and providing one assist in the process.
During the 2017-18 campaign, the 25-year-old made 31 starts and 11 substitute appearances in the Championship for Wolves, scoring nine goals and providing 12 goals in the process, according to WhoScored.
