Wolverhampton Wanderers target Oleksandr Zinchenko has reportedly accepted his situation is somewhat bleak at Manchester City.

The Mirror reports that the Premier League newbies have had a £16 million bid for Zinchenko accepted by the champions. However, Nuno Espirito Santo may have been slightly concerned when the Ukraine international was included in the Cityzens’ squad for their pre-season trip to America.
However, the Mirror reports that Zinchenko is still expected to leave City this summer and he has apparently accepted that moving on provides the best route towards regular game-time – perhaps paving the way for Wolves to get a deal across the line, though Fulham are also interested.
If Nuno can sign the 21-year-old this summer, it would arguably be a fantastic statement as he appears to be one of the youngsters that Pep Guardiola has a lot of faith in given that he featured on a number of occasions in various competitions last season.

However, Wolves should probably not get complacent, even with the encouragement that they will probably receive from the latest reports. Zinchenko appears to have an extremely bright future ahead of him, and it would be little surprise if City found themselves having to respond to more offers before his situation is resolved once and for all.
But if they can get the versatile midfielder in this summer, it would undoubtedly be another brilliant move made from a Wolves side that seem to have got very little wrong over the last 12 months.
