Wolverhampton Wanderers fans are expecting to see their club make some high quality additions this month.
Wolves are still in for Blackburn Rovers utility man Ben Marshall, according to Sky Sports via their live transfer centre feature at 16:46 on Monday January 23rd, although their offer of £1.3 million to secure his services is still £700,000 short of the Lancashire outfit’s asking price.

Paul Lambert has spoken at length over the past few weeks of the need to trim his squad of the excess fat, but he still acknowledges the fact that they must add genuine quality to the side in certain positions.
And Marshall’s proficiency at playing in various different positions could prove to be a huge asset for Lambert’s men, with such a long and physically demanding season ahead of them still.

The 25-year-old moved to Ewood Park from Leicester City in the summer of 2013, and has gone on to become an integral part of the Blackburn side, making 140 appearances for the club.
And Sky Sports are reporting that Rovers will not allow him to go on the cheap, with Wolves’ latest offer of £1.3 million being deemed as unacceptable by the Blackburn hierarchy.
