Wolverhampton Wanderers will announce Roman Saiss’s new contract this week, according to a report.

The Telegraph have reported that Wolverhampton Wanderers are set to extend Roman Saiss’s contract at Molinex.
Moroccan outlet Lions De L’Atlas claimed last week that Atletico Madrid were interested in Saiss, a £3 million signing [The Guardian] back in 2016.
The 28-year-old defender has struggled for regular football since Wolves won promotion to the Premier League, starting only eight top-flight games under Nuno Espirito Santo.
But it looks like he might be a valued member of Nuno’s squad, with The Telegraph reporting that Wolves are set to extend his contract, which expires in the summer of 2020.
The report adds that an announcement will be made ‘later this week’.
If and when it happens, it’ll cap a hat-trick of recent contract extensions, with captain Conor Coady and Matt Doherty putting pen to paper over the past week.
Saiss reminded Wanderers fans of his importance with a great performance in the FA Cup win over Bristol City this past weekend, producing a heroic last-minute clearance to spare Nuno’s side from extra time.
