Adams has been on fire at Wolves’ Midlands rivals Birmingham City this season.

The Daily Mirror claims Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leicester City are just two of 12 Premier League sides that watched Birmingham City sensation Che Adams last weekend.

The 22-year-old has been in sensational form for Garry Monk’s Birmingham this season, after the former Swansea City boss moulded the versatile attacker into a centre-forward.

He has found the back of the net 13 times in 27 Championship appearances – which is an impressive return given that the Blues have only managed 39 league goals in total. Indeed, Adams has scored a third of Birmingham’s league goals.

He found the back of the net on Saturday as Birmingham came within a whisker of grabbing a point against Tony Pulis’ Middlesbrough, but it was not to be. It took his impressive tally to 10 goals in the last 15 league games.

It is said that 12 Premier League teams watched Adams on Saturday, as he combined with target man Lukas Jutkiewicz to nab his 13th of the season. The report suggests Wolves are one of those clubs.

The Mirror also claim that Fulham, Huddersfield Town, Leicester City and Burnley are all keen, as are a handful of Championship sides. Fulham had a £5million offer rejected back in July 2017.

The former Sheffield United star has three and a half years remaining on his contract at Birmingham, which puts Monk’s side in a strong position over a price tag. It remains to be seen if Adams will stay with the Blues this month.
