Wolves are expected to be backed this summer by cash-rich owners Fosun.
Goal.com have claimed that Wolverhampton Wanderers have tabled an offer for Paris Saint-Germain teenager Moussa Sissako, but face competition from his current club and Premier League rivals Brighton.
The 17-year-old is yet to sign professional terms with the French champions, but does have an offer on the table from Unai Emery’s side who value the young defender in high regard.
But Wolves are looking to tempt Sissako with a move away from Parc des Princes and perhaps a better shot at first-team football at Molineux, after submitting an offer for the France-born Malian.
Sissako’s representatives are said to have travelled to England and were shown the Championship winners’ training complex before a bid was made for the rookie centre-back.
The youngster would face plenty of competition at Wolves, with the likes of Willy Bolly, Conor Coady, Danny Batth and Roderick Miranda all fighting for a place in Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.
But with the chance to develop and gain first-team football in the future, Sissako may indeed choose cash-rich Wolves over PSG and Brighton, though it remains to be seen where he chooses to play this summer.
