The Huddersfield Town midfielder is said to be a long-term Wolverhampton Wanderers target.
Wolverhampton Wanderers have revived their interest in the Huddersfield Town midfielder, Alex Pritchard, according to the Daily Mirror (December 6 liveblog, 14:18).
Huddersfield paid £11 million to prise Pritchard from Norwich City in January.
And the newspaper reports that his form since then has once again alerted Wolves, who were first keen to sign him five years ago.
Pritchard was then on loan to Swindon Town from Tottenham Hotspur, and the 25-year-old went on to appear for Brentford and West Bromwich Albion before leaving White Hart Lane for Norwich in 2016.
Whether Huddersfield would consider selling Pritchard remains to be seen, especially with the Yorkshire side embroiled in a relegation battle.
And it is possible that Wolves will have to wait until the end of the campaign – and hope the Terriers go down – in order to get their man.
