Wolves are reportedly planning moves to bolster their midfield.

According to French newspaper La Voix du Nord, Wolverhampton Wanderers are back in for Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare – and would be willing to loan him back in order to secure a deal.
Wolves have come to life in the latter stages of the window, having signed AC Milan striker Patrick Cutrone and Real Madrid defender Jesus Vallejo.
Nuno Espirito Santo will still want new faces in before Thursday’s deadline, and a new midfielder is high on the list of priorities – but there could be a cunning plan in the pipeline at Molineux.
Soccer Link report that Wolves are set to take Southampton midfielder Mario Lemina on loan for £1million, and will have the option to turn the move permanent for £19million.
The timeline may fit with a move for Soumare, as it’s believed that they want to sign him permanently before Thursday’s deadline, but loan him back to Lille this season.
That would mean Lemina comes in immediately, but would likely make way once Soumare joins up with the club next summer, which would be superb planning.

Soumare rejected a £36million move to Wolves last month according to RMC Sport, as he wanted to stay with Lille for one more season and play Champions League football.
This move would allow that to happen, before Soumare would then start his Premier League career in 2020, and that could be ideal for all parties given the move for Lemina.
Soumare, 20, has been likened to Paul Pogba, and has shown huge potential with Lille. Much like Lemina, Soumare can get up and down the pitch as a box-to-box midfielder but also has skill on the ball, and he could be a great investment for Wolves – if they can get the move over the line.
