Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly ready to splash the cash.
According to TEAMtalk, Wolverhampton Wanderers are ready to spend £93million on four new signings; Joao Moutinho, Andre Gomes, Adama Traore and Andre Silva.
Wolves were expected to splash the cash this summer after winning promotion back to the Premier League, but they have been a little more measured than many expected.
Goalkeeper Rui Patricio and striker Raul Jimenez have arrived to bolster Nuno’s options, whilst the club have also moved to sign loanees Willy Boly, Ruben Vinagre and Leo Bonatini permanently.
Now though, with the transfer window ticking towards its conclusion, Wolves are reportedly ready to spend a staggering £93million on bringing four players to Molineux – if the players can be tempted, as reported by TEAMtalk.
Monaco midfielder Joao Moutinho is one of them, with the 31-year-old poised to complete a bargain £5million move in the coming days, but he isn’t the only Portuguese international being eyed up my Wolves.
Barcelona’s Andre Gomes is believed to be a £35million target having been frozen out at the Camp Nou, though given Jorge Mendes’ influence at Molineux, a move for Gomes would be something of a surprise, with Gomes leaving Mendes earlier this year for a new agent.
AC Milan striker Andre Silva is another £35million target for Wolves, and the Portuguese international forward – who starred under Nuno at Porto – could look to rejuvenate his career in the West Midlands after struggling at the San Siro.
Finally, Middlesbrough winger Adama Traore – available for £18million thanks to a release clause in his deal – is believed to be the other target, with the pacey winger wanted by a host of clubs, and Wolves will seemingly hope to convince the quartet to sign and offer Nuno a major boost all over the pitch.
