Wolverhampton Wanderers are ready to allow Ben Marshall to leave Molineux on loan, and there are reportedly several Championship clubs keen.

According to a report from The Sun on Sunday (print edition; 8th October 2017; page 61), Wolves are ready to let Ben Marshall leave Molineux in January to join a Championship rival on loan.
Marshall only made the switch to Wolves during the most recent January window. But, while he featured fairly regularly during the second-half of last season, Nuno Espirito Santo’s arrival in the summer has led to the 26-year-old’s game-time becoming incredibly restricted.
While the report does not suggest where Marshall is likely to go, it does state that he will be allowed to join a fellow second tier side and that there is plenty of interest in the utility man.
Marshall can play anywhere down the right flank – even playing on the right of the front three this term – so it would hardly be a surprise if a number of managers look at a deal for the former Manchester United trainee as an appealing option.
Signing players in January is difficult, so landing a player who can play in a number of positions without having to pay a fee could be extremely beneficial to those sides who are in contention to achieve their goals for the campaign but do not have a significant budget to work with.
