Wolverhampton Wanderers have made Ryan Bennett and Roderick Miranda available for transfer while Dion Sanderson could return to the Championship on another loan deal, according to Sky Sports (live blog, 10.36am).

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have looked unusually slack at the back recently.

A 4-0 thrashing at West Ham preceded a 1-0 triumph over struggling Fulham, which could have ended differently had Aboubakar Kamara and Neeskens Kabano brought their shooting boots to Molineux.

But while Conor Coady and Willy Boly haven’t been at their best after an energy-sapping 2019/20 campaign, a couple of error-strewn displays won’t stop Wolves from cashing in on two seldom-seen centre-halves.

Sky claims Bennett and Miranda, both of whom will be free agents in summer 2021, have been put up for sale.

The former was a key player under Nuno before slipping down the pecking order, spending the second half of last season on loan at Leicester City. Miranda, meanwhile, made the last of his 19 appearances in Wolves colours during the 2017/18 season.

Interestingly, PA reported last week that Fulham themselves were interested in the experienced Bennett as Scott Parker looks to solve their much-publicised Achilles heel.

Sky adds that Dion Sanderson could return to the Championship after earning rave reviews during a spell at Cardiff City, while Osar Buur Rasmusson is joining Dutch second-tier outfit Volendam.
