Birmingham City could lose Ramello Mitchell with Wolverhampton Wanderers, Leeds United, Southampton, Manchester City and Liverpool all interested.
Wolverhampton Wanderers are aiming to raid Midland rivals Birmingham City for the highly-rated forward Ramello Mitchell while Leeds United are also interested, according to The Mail.
The teenage attacker has gained an impressive reputation on the back of a prolific season for The Blues’ reserve teams and it seems that a number of clubs have expressed an interest in nabbing him before he makes his debut at St Andrew’s.
Birmingham are at risk of losing arguably the most exciting prospect to neighbours Wolves, The Mail report. It is claimed that the Premier League high-flyers have been watching Mitchell closely and are now hoping to come to an agreement over his transfer in the near future.
It is not a foregone conclusion just yet, however. The Mail adds that Leeds have made an enquiry over Mitchell’s availability.
Director of football Victor Orta has brought a number of young, rising stars to Elland Road since the summer of 2017 and Mitchell would join Sam Dalby, Ryan Edmondson and Kun Temenuzhkov should he swap St Andrews for Elland Road.
Manchester City, Southampton, Manchester United and Liverpool have also scouted Mitchell in recent times.
