Wolves are claimed to be interested in Sporting Lisbon attacker.

Wolves are keen on a deal for Iuri Medeiros, according to Portuguese newspaper O Jogo.

The Championship side have looked to Portugal for signings regularly since Fosun International took over last summer, and Medeiros could be the latest addition to their squad.

Signing Medeiros won’t be easy though despite coach Nuno Espirito’s hopes a deal can be done.

The Sporting Lisbon winger is 22, and spent last season on loan at Boavista.

He played regularly on that loan spell, scoring seven goals and providing nine assists.

Medeiros has been a regular for Portugal at under-21 level, winning 19 caps, and has represented them from every age group from the under-15s upwards.

He has even recently attracted attention from Italian giants Roma, with Portuguese newspaper A Bola reporting at the weekend that they have made an enquiry.

Russian side Krasnodar have also seen a five million Euro bid rejected for the winger.
