Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly plotting a substantial offer for the Derby County prospect.

Wolves are closely monitoring Derby County youngster Louie Sibley and are plotting a substantial bid for the 17-year-old, according to a report from the Sunday People (23/12; page 50).
Sibley is one of the most exciting talents currently coming through at Pride Park. The teenager has been a regular fixture in the Rams’ under-23 side that sit second in Premier League 2.
And his progress has caught Wolves’ eye. The Sunday People (23/12; page 50) reports that the Premier League side sent scouts to watch Sibley in Derby’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United this week.
Sibley scored in the game, and Wolves are now looking to make a ‘substantial offer’ for the youngster.

It will be interesting to see where Sibley would prefer to be if Wolves make an offer which Derby decide to accept. Frank Lampard has shown plenty of faith in his young players this season, with two teenagers making 40 league appearances between them already.
The path to the first-team is, understandably, a little more congested at Molineux. But Sibley may perhaps take some encouragement from the way that Morgan Gibbs-White has turned himself into the youngster that everyone seems to be talking about at the moment.
