According to Expressen, Wolverhampton Wanderers have now started talks with IFK Norrkoping in an attempt to sign Isak Bergmann Johannesson.
It’s claimed that Norrkoping are negotiating with Wolves over a potential deal worth up to €6.5million (£5.5million), which would be quite the coup.
A number of clubs want to sign Bergmann Johannesson with Aftonbladet reporting earlier this season that Liverpool were among the clubs keen on him.
Manchester United and Juventus were also in the race, but it’s now Wolves seemingly pushing for a summer deal for the 18-year-old.
The son of ex-Burnley and Leicester City midfielder Joey Gudjonsson, he has already racked up four goals and 13 assists in 35 first-team games over in Sweden.
Bergmann Johannesson’s father Joey did also play for Wolves, which makes this potential deal even more interesting as the teenager could follow in his footsteps.

The problem for Wolves is that these reports breaking may spark other clubs into action, with Liverpool surely paying close attention to the situation.
The Reds are always looking for young talents, and the idea of having Bergmann Johannesson on one flank and Harvey Elliott on the other one day has to be appealing.
Given that he was born in Sutton Coldfield, Brexit won’t be an issue in the race for Bergmann Johannesson, and we will soon see whether Liverpool do challenge Wolves for his signature.
