It is said that Lewis Gibson decided to leave the club and join Everton because of Beardsley’s alleged behaviour, and now London-born El-Mhanni could be set to do the same.

El-Mhanni is in the final six months of his contract at St. James’ Park, but the Toon do have an option to extend his contract by a further year. Wolves are joined by Premier League side Brighton and Turkish giants Fenerbahce in the race to sign El-Mhanni.
