Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly keen on Middlesbrough winger Adama Traore.
According to The Sun, Huddersfield Town and Wolverhampton Wanderers are leading the race to sign Middlesbrough winger Adama Traore this summer.
Traore, 22, was tipped for stardom with Barcelona but somewhat lost his way before making a 2015 move to Aston Villa, where he struggled to settle or earn the trust of managers.
The Spaniard was on the move again in 2016, joining Middlesbrough, and whilst he blew hot and cold in the Premier League, he flourished in the Championship last season.
With five goals and 10 assists, Traore started to show signs that he can fulfil his potential, with his blistering pace and devastating dribbling terrorising Championship defences throughout the season.
When Middlesbrough lost their Championship play-off semi-final to Aston Villa, many thought that Traore would be on the move, and a host of Premier League clubs have now been linked.
Now, The Sun report that Huddersfield Town and newly-promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers are leading the race for Traore, who allegedly has an £18million release clause in his contract.
Whilst his end product is still developing, Traore would certainly get fans off their seats, and interested from Wolves wouldn’t be a huge surprise this summer.
Ivan Cavaleiro continues to be linked with a move away, and adding another speedy winger such as Traore would allow boss Nuno to make changes to his three-man attack, and it remains to be seen whether Wolves do land the wide man this summer.
