According to The Athletic, Wolves have made an enquiry for Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic in regards to a potential loan move in January.
Nuno Espirito Santo is looking for a short-term option to deputise for the injured Raul Jimenez, who sadly suffered a fractured skull away to Arsenal.
Despite the Midlands-based outfit’s enquiry, The Athletic state that a move to Molineux for the 11-cap Serbia international still appears slim.
Why? Well, Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid would prefer a permanent transfer for the former Eintracht Frankfurt man, whereas Wolves want a loan.
However, in our view, Jovic himself could well force an exit given his current situation at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The 23-year-old has started just two La Liga games this season, and has only scored twice in 32 games since his £55 million move to Los Blancos.
However, there’s still a fantastic player in there somewhere, one who netted 36 goals in 75 games for Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Serbian is also a man who has been described as ‘magical’ by Lionel Messi.

In quotes provided by Give Me Sport, the six-time Ballon d’Or winner said: ‘A magical player who makes the impossible, possible.’
It would be unfair of Nuno to place all of the goalscoring burden on 18-year-old Fabio Silva, so a new frontman is certainly necessary.
If Wolves could bring Jovic to England, it would represent a real coup.
