Wolverhampton Wanderers are hoping to beat Everton

According to The Mirror, Wolverhampton Wanderers have put forward a ‘big-money’ package to Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere in a bid to lure him to Molineux.
Wolves have clinched promotion back to the Premier League, and having made audacious signings in the Championship in order to win the title, the same level of ambition is expected in the top flight.
A host of players have already been linked with moves to Wolves, and Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere is one who has caught the imagination given his status as an England international.
Now, The Mirror report that Wolves have made Wilshere a big-money offer to join the club this summer, given that his Arsenal contract expires this summer and he will become a free agent.

Arsenal don’t seem prepared to give Wilshere what he wants in order to stay, and Wolves are now seemingly pushing themselves to the front of the queue to pip Everton to Wilshere’s signature.
Wolves fans didn’t seem to enamoured with links to Stoke City midfielder Joe Allen, but a deal for Wilshere may be much more appealing given that he is a much more creative force than Allen.
On a free transfer, Wilshere could be a bargain, but the fear is always over his fitness, and at 26 with a big-money offer on the table, Wolves need to be sure that they will see the best of the Arsenal ace.
