Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly one of the Premier League sides interested in signing Aston Villa loanee Tammy Abraham.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Wolves are one of four Premier League sides interested in signing Tammy Abraham, as he continues to impress out on loan with Aston Villa.
Abraham – who earns £50,000-a-week at Chelsea, according to Spotrac – is enjoying an excellent season with the Villans, having scored 14 goals for the club. However, Dean Smith may be tasked with trying to replace him before the January window shuts.
The report adds that the Premier League quartet are looking at loan moves for the youngster. So it will be interesting whether the Blues decide that leaving him where he is – albeit at a lower level – is best for him, or whether he needs another chance to get some top flight experience under his belt.

Wolves are the lowest goalscorers in the top-half of the table, so it is no surprise that Nuno Espirito Santo has his eye on a new goalscorer.
And given that Abraham is on loan with Villa, he would be forgiven for wondering whether a move to Molineux could be an exciting step for him. He may be taking a risk over the game-time he is going to receive, but of all the options available to him, there is perhaps no better move as he looks to make a statement to his parent club.
