According to The Athletic, Wolves are making a late push to sign Marseille wonderkid Boubacar Kamara, as well as a new striker.
What’s the story?
Well, Bruno Lage’s side saw a move for Renato Sanches collapse earlier, according to Sky Sports.
However, it seems Wolves had other options waiting for them in Ligue 1, as a move for Marseille’s No.4 is underway.
The Athletic believe Wolves are currently working on a deal for the 21-year-old, who can play either at centre-back or in midfield.
In three Ligue 1 appearances so far this season, the Frenchman has played in a defensive-midfield role.
The Athletic add that Wolves have also submitted a bid for a striker, who is not named.
Wolves face competition from Newcastle for Boubacar Kamara

If Wolves are to land Kamara, they must fend off Newcastle.
According to Le Phoceen, Newcastle sent an offer to Marseille earlier today, as Steve Bruce looks to strengthen his thin squad.
As things stand, there has been no movement.
It’s effectively now down to Kamara – who has been likened to Thiago Silva – to choose between a move to the Midlands, or to Tyneside.

Marseille also have a decision to make, as Kamara’s contract expires in 2022.
If he decides not to renew, then Wolves or Newcastle can agree a pre-contract agreement with him for free in January.
So, do the Premier League duo wait and see if that happens, or do they mount a serious push now?
Only time will tell.
