Chelsea and Liverpool have also been linked with the FC Porto midfielder.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing Ruben Neves from FC Porto in the summer transfer window, according to The Express & Star.

It has been reported that it would cost Wolves around £18 million in transfer fees in order to secure the services of the Portugal international midfielder.

According to the report, the 20-year-old has been compared to Manchester United legend Paul Scholes.

Portuguese publication A Bola reported last month than Premier League giants Chelsea and Liverpool were interested in Neves.

Neves is a very talented and promising young midfielder, and signing the youngster would be a coup for Wolves, especially given the (reported) interest of Chelsea and Liverpool.

The Wanderers will feature in the Championship next season and will be aiming to clinch a place in the playoffs.

Wolves are a big club and have a decent team at the moment, and with a few good signings in the summer transfer window, they should be able to launch a challenge for a spot in the top six in the Championship next season.
