According to Diario Sport, Wolverhampton Wanderers are in pole position to sign reported Everton target Jean-Clair Todibo from Spanish giants Barcelona.
The Barca central defender has been heavily linked with an exit.
A report by Sport in July claimed Everton made an offer to sign him.

The Toffees may seek defensive reinforcements after an inconsistent campaign from the likes of Michael Keane and former Barca man Yerry Mina.
A move to Goodison Park, however, has failed to materialise and now Wolves are set to make their move after the recent sale of Matt Doherty to Tottenham Hotspur.
Wolves have been linked with Todibo before. Back in January 2019, the Premier League club had reportedly set their sights on bringing him to Molineux (La Depeche).
But the former Toulouse man instead joined Barca where he has since struggled to break into the first-team set-up having spent last season on loan at Schalke.
Sport claim the Catalans are happy to sell the 20-year-old for £22.5 million. Wolves, however, are looking to negotiate a lower fee.
Todibo would fit in well with the Wolves project aided by super-agent Jorge Mendes.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have brought in several young players such as Ruben Neves, Diogo Jota and Ruben Vinagre, each with huge potential and a high re-sale value.
Todibo would be another to add to the list, and he could be exactly the sort of player to help push the club on as they seek to break into the Premier League’s top four.
