Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Helder Costa is on Marcelo Bielsa’s wishlist at Leeds United.
Costa, who signed for Wolves for £13 million back in 2017 (BBC Sport), has fallen out of favour at Molineux, and Nuno’s side are prepared to allow the winger to leave with Leeds waiting to pounce.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side are now planning to have a meeting with Costa over a potential move to Elland Road.
Leeds may have to be quick in securing a deal, as they do not have the luxury of waisting time.
Wolves will not sell Costa if Ivan Cavaleiro goes, as Nuno does not want to leave his side short down the flanks.
Leeds now are under pressure to secure a deal for Costa quickly, before any other team has managed to get hold of Cavaleiro.
Wolves are said to prefer to offload Costa permanently, but it seems unlikely that Leeds would be able to afford that transfer. A loan move with an option to buy is therefore more probable.
If Costa does join Leeds he would be a fine addition to Bielsa’s side, as he has proven destructive in the Championship before.
