Wolverhampton Wanderers will have to pay £15 million to sign Leicester City goalkeeper Danny Ward, according to TEAMtalk.
What’s the story?
The Daily Mail reported last month that Wolves are interested in signing Ward from Premier League rivals Leicester in the summer transfer window.
Rui Patricio looks set to join AS Roma, and Wolves need to sign a replacement.
Former Liverpool goalkeeper Ward is a player the Wanderers are looking to sign.
TEAMtalk are reporting that Leicester want £15 million as transfer fee for the 28-year-old.
The former Premier League champions are not actively looking to sell the Wales international, but an offer of £15 million could tempt them.
Highly rated
Ward joined Leicester in 2018 after leaving Liverpool.
The 28-year-old has played 17 times for Wales and starred for them at Euro 2020.

However, the goalkeeper has yet to play a league game for the Foxes.
In fact, Ward has played only two games in the Premier League so far in his career.
Both were for Liverpool.
Ward made his Premier League debut for Liverpool against Bournemouth back in April 2016.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp described the Welshman’s performance that day as “brilliant”, as quoted on BBC Sport.
