Wolves fans react on Twitter to Diogo Jota speculation

Wolves are close to signing Diogo Jota from Atletico Madrid on loan.

According to reports from Express and Star, Wolverhampton Wanderers are looking to sign Atletico Madrid winger Diogo Jota this summer.

The report claims that Jota is “poised to join” Wolves on a season-long loan, with the deal likely to be announced this week.

The 20-year-old has already travelled to the UK to undergo his medical and finalise his move to the Molineux.

Express and Star journalist Tim Spiers adds that Wolves will have an option to buy the £10m rated winger at the end of his imminent loan-deal with the club.

Jota enjoyed a successful loan spell last season under Nuno Espirito Santo at Porto, where he scored nine goals in 38 appearances.

Wolves fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to express their view, and they seem pretty excited with the move.

He will become Wolves’ 10th signing of an extremely busy summer. The club have also shipped out nine first-team players, either permanently or on loan.
