According to The Birmingham Mail, Wolverhampton Wanderers could miss out on the signing of Liverpool winger Rafael Camacho.

It has been reported that Camacho wants to leave Liverpool and Wolves manager Nuno wants to secure the 19-year-old winger’s services.

The report has also claimed that Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon is the likeliest destination for the youngster.

The Portuguese youngster reportedly believes that he will get more first-team playing time at Sporting than he would get at Wolves.

Promising talent

Camacho is a very talented and promising young winger who would be a good signing for Wolves in the summer transfer window.

The Portuguese youngster can only get better in the coming years, and Wolves would be signing a very good player should they be able to secure his services.

Sporting, though, are a massive club in Portugal, and one can understand the appeal and attraction they have for young Portuguese players.

Marcel Keizer’s side finished third in the Portuguese league this past campaign and will feature in the group stage of the Europa League next season.
