According to a report from The Sun, Wolves will consider potential offers of £2.5 million for Kortney Hause as Huddersfield Town and Watford weigh up whether to offer the youngster the chance to move to the Premier League.

It has been a brilliant season for Wolves so far, with Nuno Espirito Santo’s men well clear at the top of the Championship and looking destined to ensure that they will be playing top flight football next season.

Wolves manager Nuno Espírito Santo looks on during the pre-season friendly match between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leicester City at Molineux on July 29, 2017 in Wolverhampton, England.

It has not been such a positive campaign on a personal level for Hause however, with the centre-back featuring just once all season and yet to make an appearance in the league since Nuno arrived at Molineux in the summer.

The Sun reports that the 22-year-old may now be open to the idea of making a move and Wolves could consider letting him leave should they receive a bid of £2.5 million for the former West Ham trainee.

And The Sun adds that both Huddersfield and Watford are considering bringing him in this month as David Wagner and Marco Silva look to bolster their respective options in defence.

While Hause is struggling for game-time this season, it would surely be a surprise if Wolves were willing to let him leave. He clearly boasts a significant amount of potential – the Premier League interest in him surely proves that – and it may not be out of the question to suggest that he may have a more prominent role to play as the season continues and stretches squads.
