According to a report from the Daily Mail, Wolves could allow Cameron John to leave Molineux on loan during the January transfer window as the defender attracts a lot of attention.

John is one of the brightest prospects currently trying to force his way into Nuno Espirito Santo’s thoughts with the newly-promoted Premier League side.

The 19-year-old features regularly for the under-23s and the Mail reports that a number of scouts were in attendance for the side’s recent 2-1 win over Manchester United.

The Mail adds that Wolves rejected a £500,000 bid from the Championship for the defender in the summer, but could now be willing to let the starlet leave on a temporary deal during the upcoming winter window.

Although John is yet to feature for Wolves’ first-team, he appears to have a very bright future ahead of him so it would be no surprise if many second tier sides were amongst those tempted to make a January bid for the teenager.

Squads are starting to be stretched due to injuries and suspensions as players begin to reach five yellow cards for the campaign. So bringing John in could be a superb way to add further depth – and Wolves should have few qualms about the defender getting some first-team experience during the business end of the campaign.
