Paul Lambert is reportedly a candidate to become Wolverhampton Wanderers boss.

According to BBC Sport, Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in making Paul Lambert their new manager, whilst Sam Allardyce and Nigel Pearson are also in contention.
Wolves took the decision to sack Walter Zenga on Tuesday less than three months after appointing the Italian as Kenny Jackett’s replacement over the summer.

The 56-year-old leaves Molineux with Wolves lying just four points clear of the relegation zone, and the search for a new manager is on as Wolves look to haul themselves up the Championship table.
A host of names have already been linked with the job, from former Wolves captain Paul Ince to Jorge Mendes client Marco Silva, with Portuguese agent Mendes advising the Fosun Group on their next appointment.

Now, BBC Sport report that Wolves are not only looking at former England boss Sam Allardyce and ex-Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson, but also a shock name in Paul Lambert.
Lambert, 47, is currently out of work having left Blackburn Rovers at the end of last season, where he won 36.4% of his games in charge, with 12 wins from 33 games.

The Scot will be best remembered for his time with Wolves’ Midlands rivals Aston Villa though, having spent almost three years in charge at Villa Park after impressing with Norwich City.
Lambert wasn’t a popular figure at Villa having lost almost half of his games in charge, but remains highly thought of by many – and if reports are to be believed, he could be in line for a return to football at Molineux.
