According to L’Equipe, Wolverhampton Wanderers have launched a £13 million bid for Axel Disasi two months after claims he almost joined Southampton.
The Stade de Reims central defender has been heavily linked with a summer move.
The Daily Mail claimed back in April how Southampton, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur headed a list of Premier League clubs keen on his signature.

La Provence then went one further, claiming the Saints were close to finalising a deal.
Wolves, however, now appear to be the latest English club pushing for his signature.
L’Equipe claim Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have launched a £13 million offer for Disasi as Wolves seek to strengthen further ahead of next season.
The West Midlands club are still pushing for a European place in the Premier League while they still have a chance of winning the Europa League.
Times are changing at Molineux as the club looks to break in to the top six.
Disasi, 22, would represent a long-term option with the defender still so young and having up to a decade of top level football ahead of him.
The French defender featured 27 times for Reims before the season came to a halt, averaging 1.2 tackles and 3.6 effective clearances per game (Whoscored).
If reports are true, Southampton may regret not pushing ahead for his signature.
Le10sport, on the other hand, claim Monaco are closing in on a deal for him.
