Nathael Julan has enjoyed a stunning start to the Ligue 2 season with Le Havre and could swap the French second tier for the English with Wolves keen.

Despite two wins from two at the start of the Championship season, it appears that Wolves rebuilding job is not finished just yet.

According to The Mirror, manager Nuno Espirito Santo believes his high flying side need more cutting edge in the final third and is keen to add a striker to the club’s ranks.

Wolves manager Nuno Espírito Santo looks on during the pre-season friendly match between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leicester City at Molineux on July 29, 2017 in Wolverhampton, England.

The report suggests that Wolves, who broke the all-time Championship transfer record to land Ruben Neves from Porto this summer, could spend big again with a £20 million double move for Sheffield Wednesday’s Jordan Rhodes and Norwich City’s Nelson Oliveira.

However, according to French publication TF1, there is another name on Wolves’ radar – Le Havre’s towering targetman Nathael Julan.

Simply prolific

The 21-year-old, standing at 6ft 6ins, has enjoyed a remarkable start to the season, coming off the bench to score on the opening day battering of Auxerre before adding two more away at Paris FC this weekend.

In total, Julan has scored three goals in 38 minutes of action in 2017/18.

And the report claims this form has piqued the interest of Wolves, as well as Championship rivals Norwich City and Premier League duo Crystal Palace and Stoke City plus a number of French clubs.

Clearly, Wolves could not expect Julan to maintain this prolific purple patch if he moved to Molineux this summer but the forward’s talent is not in question.

The Midlands club have already signed one centre forward this summer in the shape of former Al Hilal frontman Leo Bonatini (below). The Brazilian netted the winner on his debut as Wolves edged Middlesbrough 1-0 on the opening day but missed a sitter in Saturday’s 2-0 victory over Derby.
