According to Estadio Deportivo, Wolves and Leicester will battle it out for Real Betis powerhouse William Carvalho this summer.
The Spanish news outlet claim that Wolves and the Foxes are the two sides who are ‘most moved’ to bring the 63-cap Portugal international to England.
Estadio Deportivo add that Real Betis have been looking at the market with their calculator in hand, weighing up which asset could be sold.
The Spanish side need money due to the financial impacts of COVID-19, and Estadio Deportivo believe they need one ‘big sale’ to happen this summer.
That could benefit Wolves and Leicester’s negotiating stance, as Brendan Rodgers and Nuno Espirito Santo will be aware of the Spanish side’s struggles.
Real Betis paid €20 million (£17.2 million) for Carvalho when signing him from Sporting Lisbon.

If we were to assume, we’d say the Spaniards would at least want their money back for the 28-year-old.
So, what type of player is Carvalho?
Well, the man himself said Barcelona maestro Sergio Busquets plays like him, so that should tell you all you need to know.

Eleven Sports Portugal quote the defensive midfielder as saying: “My coaches know that I’m not slow. What seems slow is my style of play, which is something completely different. For example, Sergio Busquets is a slow player, but he plays to his strengths very well. He’s like me.”
Standing at 6 foot 1 inches and with a muscular, stocky frame, Carvalho seems tailor made for the Premier League.
Also, should he move to Wolves, we presume he’d have no trouble settling in given the vast amount of Portugal internationals at Molineux.
