Onel Hernandez’s performances for Eintracht Braunschweig have attracted interest from England with both Huddersfield Town and Wolves interested.
Wolves may have cemented their place among the promotion favourites thanks to a positive start to the season under former Valencia and Porto coach Nuno Espirito Santo but, with just over a week remaining of the transfer window, the heavy spending may not be finished just yet.
Because, according to German newspaper Kicker, the money-bags Midlanders are interested in Onel Hernandez, a winger currently plying his trade with Eintracht Braunschweig in the 2.Bundesliga.

A Cuban-born talent who represented Germany at Under-18 level, Hernandez impressed since joining Braunschweig from Wolfsburg last summer, scoring five and setting up another four in 28 starts in the second tier.
He would have been playing Bundesliga football this season, only for Braunschweig to lose to local rivals and former club Wolfsburg in the relegation play-off in May.
Therefore, with The Lions desperate to return to the top division after four years away, it’s no surprise that they are desperate to hang onto one of their key players this summer.
With Helder Costa, arguably Wolves most impressive player last season, still out for the foreseeable future with an ankle injury, it remains to be seen whether Nuno’s side will make another attempt to land a replacement winger.
However, Huddersfield’s interest should come as a concern, with former Borussia Dortmund reserve coach David Wagner utilising the German market excellently so far.

The likes of Chris Lowe, Cristopher Schindler and Elias Kachunga all helped The Terriers reach promotion last season after arriving from the German second tier, before contributing a 100 per cent record in Huddersfield’s first two games in the Premier League.
