According to Sky Sports, Wolves have agreed a deal to sign Real Sociedad striker Willian Jose, subject to the forward obtaining a work permit.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have secured the Brazilian attacker on a short-term loan deal, with an option to buy the 29-year-old in the summer.
The new post-Brexit rules mean that Willian Jose must wait for a work permit, meaning that he won’t be in the United Kingdom until next week.
Sky Sports add that the Porto Calvo-born striker was offered to Tottenham in the summer, while Atletico Madrid have also been linked with the forward.
However, it seems as if Wolves have won the race to sign him.

So, what type of player is Willian Jose?
Well, Birmingham Live have also covered the news, and they’ve provided a nice comparison.
Birmingham Live write that the Brazilian is similar in stature and physique to Raúl Jiménez.

They also write that Willian Jose possesses good technique with both feet, and is better suited to Adama Traore and Pedro Neto’s deliveries than Fabio Silva.
After placing a lot of trust in Silva, while also recalling Patrick Cutrone, it looks as if Nuno has now bitten the bullet and used the market to help him.
Only time will tell if the ex-Porto boss has made the right call.
