The Wolves winger, believed to be on the Serie A runners-up’s radar, has struggled at Molineux this season just gone.

Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore has emerged as a speculative transfer target for Serie A runners-up Napoli, according to a report from Italian outlet Calciomercato.
The 23-year-old became Wolves’ record signing last summer when the Premier League club triggered the £18million release clause in his Middlesbrough contract, as reported by BBC Sport.
Traore enjoyed an impressive start to life at Molineux as he netted a dramatic late winner away at West Ham United in only his third appearance for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.
However, his season as a whole has largely been disappointing, with that goal at the London Stadium his only one in his 29 appearances for Wolves in the top flight this term.

In all appearances, the former Spain Under-21 player has made 36 Wolves appearances, scoring one goal – that same one – plus registering three assists, according to Transfermarkt.
According to Calciomercato, Napoli – second in the league behind champions Juventus and thus in the Champions League next season – have turned their attention to Traore in the wake of their struggles in securing the signature of PSV Eindhoven ace Hirving Lozano.
The report adds that Wanderers would be willing to part ways with their player for 15 million Euro (approximately £13million), which would mean a loss of around £5million on their initial outlay, though it stresses that at this stage the Partenopei have just “gathered information”.
