Wolverhampton Wanderers have been linked with Benik Afobe of Bournemouth in the January transfer window.

However, according to the report, there are a couple of conditions. It has been reported that Wolves want to sign the former Arsenal prospect on loan from Premier League club Bournemouth for the rest of the season – not on a permanent deal rightaway.

It has also been reported that the Wanderers want to sign the 24-year-old striker on loan with a view to a permanent transfer if they win promotion to the Premier League at the end of the season.
Wolves are going strong in the Championship at the moment and look set to win the title this season.

Afobe scored 23 goals in 48 matches when he was at the Wanderers, according to BBC Sport, before his move to Bournemouth in January 2016.
The DR Congo international striker would be a good signing for Wolves, especially in the second half of the season in the Championship.
