According to a report in the Telegraph, Wolverhampton Wanderers were informed that Marcos Rojo did not want a move to Molineux when they made their interest in the Manchester United defender clear.

Wolves are keen to add another centre-back, and Rojo was made aware that he was on Nuno’s radar.

However, the United centre-back reportedly had no desire to make a switch to Wolves.

It leaves Nuno’s newly promoted side looking at other options to strengthen their defence.

Wolves have brought in Willy Boly on a permanent transfer, but Ryan Bennett and Conor Coady look likely to start alongside him currently, just like they did last season.

Wolves are yet to bring in a new centre-back, although they have been linked with a host of new targets.
