The Portuguese winger has impressed while on loan to Wolverhampton Wanderers, attracting interest from several Premier League clubs.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are set to sign Portuguese winger Helder Costa in a club-record a deal, according to the Sun.

Costa has impressed while on loan to Wolves from Benfica, scoring seven goals and creating five in this season’s Championship.

However, as reported by HITC Sport earlier on Tuesday, this has attracted unwanted attention from several Premier League sides including Everton and West Ham United.

But according to the Sun, Wolves will waste little time in securing Costa’s services long-term, in a deal which could cost £13 million and be completed within the next 24 hours.

Despite this, the report adds the interest from the likes of Everton and West Ham is unlikely to go away. However, Paul Lambert’s men would at least stand to gain from any future transfer should Costa, who is represented by super-agent Jorge Mendes, become their player.

The deal for Costa would smash Wolves’ previous club-record transfer, which brought the 23-year-old’s fellow countryman Ivan Cavaleiro to Molineux from Monaco in August, by £5.5 million.
