Wolves look to be cruising to promotion this season, and they have already established an 11 point lead at the top of the Championship table.

However, Wolves are keen not to rest on their laurels, and feel that another forward is needed.

Nuno wants to add a clinical finisher to his squad, and Wolves are working on getting a deal done before tonight’s deadline.

Benik Afobe is right at the top of Wolves’ wishlist, but getting that deal done is proving very complicated.

Bournemouth are inclined to keep hold of Afobe, which makes Wolves’ task of prising him away from Dean Court a tough one.

Nuno’s side could make an offer for Afobe in the coming hours, but it will have to be a sizeable one to convince the Cherries to do business.
