According to a report in the Express and Star, Wolverhampton Wanderers are still hopeful of completing a deal for Manchester United striker Ashley Fletcher.
Fletcher has been linked with a move to West Ham United in recent times, but Wolves are hopeful that they can convince him to make a switch to Molineux.
Wolves would be able to offer Fletcher first-team football, whereas West Ham would be able to make no such promises.
Leeds United are also interested in Fletcher, but Wolves are hoping to win the transfer battle.
